Hand-knotted vintage hemp runner rug. 

Age: about 40-50 years old.
The hemp unner rug is very soft and thick - almost like heavy raw silk and in a very god condition.
The yarn is a mix of soft hemp and wool in beautiful shades of golden sandy and pink colors.

Hemp is strong but soft, thick yet pliant, naturally long-wearing and the material used in this hemp rugs was organically grown about 50 years ago and the wool was hand spun and dyed by hand.
